Revolution Reykjavik competes at Northern Wave International Film Festival

We are proud to announce our selection for the Northern Wave International Film Festival. "Revolution Reykjavik" (Utras Reykjavik) will compete for Best Icelandic Short 2012. Details to follow.

Our films to be broadcast on RÚV, Iceland's national TV - February 5th 2012.

Family Reunion, Committed (Njálsgata) and Clean will be on the air Sunday, February 5th on the Icelandic National Broadcasting Network, RÚV. Mark your calendars and stay tuned for a discussion with the director, following each film. The program is part of the Kviksjá-series, hosted by Sigrídur Pétursdóttir.

"Revolution Reykjavik" is an official selection of the Minimalen Short Film Festival where it will compete for the Nordic Independent Film Awards.  See also Icelandic Film Centre.

Admittedly, we are a tad thrilled to announce our mention in the New York Times last Saturday.  Richard Bernstein wrote an interesting piece titled,  Iceland, Rising From Its Ashes With Films,   exploring the status of Icelandic filmmaking today.  

We'd love not to brag -- but sorry -- we cannot be helped.

  

"Revolution Reykjavik" at the RIFF festival

October 2nd at 2pm we will hold our final screening at the Reykjavik International Film Festival.   It has been a packed house, so far !   But all good things must come to end, so hurry and get your tickets for our final Reykjavik screening this Sunday!
